    A timeline (entries random)

    1982: I’m born

    1985: My brother is born. I welcome his birth with, “I wanted a sister.”

    1986: I make my stage debut as Snow White in the preschool parents’ day production. I hide behind the Little Tykes kitchen set.

    1989: My sister is born.

    1990: We move to our current house. I receive my first communion.

    1993: Diagnosed with CF. Star in the 6th grade production of Aladdin as a blonde-haired Princess Jasmine.

    1996: I ‘graduate’ from elementary school.See Phantom of the Opera and fall madly in love with it. Confirmed in May; I take St. Therese of the Child Jesus (St. Therese of Lisieux) for my confirmation saint. My grandmother is my sponsor.

    1997: My godson is born in December.

    1998: See Les Miz for the first time at the Ohio Theater.

    1999: First trip to NYC—see Titanic on Broadway.

    2000: All-State choir in Cleveland. Graduate from high school. Enter Capital University. Change my major from Education to Political Science and English Lit. Sing in my first Christmas Festival. Work on my first political campaigns. Win debate speaker award at Ball State tournament.

    2001: Sing the Verdi Requiem at Cap. 9/11/01—my brother’s sixteenth birthday, to boot. Crazy ICU stay.

    2003: SAI, KT chapter inaugurated at Cap. I am one of the founding members, as well as the first Vice President of Membership.

    2003/2004: Ring in the New Year in Times Square w/ my college buddies. Good times.

    2004: Graduate from Cap. Start working for the state legislature. Work on more campaigns.

    2005: The transplant. :)

    2006: Visit Chicago for 1 year trip. See Wicked.

    2007: NYC trip. See Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic—one life goal achieved. Also discovered The Strand.

    2008: Cast in Jekyll and Hyde. Go to Duck, NC with Tiff’s family, and discover Duck’s Cottage. Love.

    2009: Cast in Parade (Essie), which gets great reviews, and wins stuff. (See Theater tab for more) Trip to Houston to visit my cousin Diane, her husband Matt, and their adorable daughter Suze. Also to swim in the Gulf of Mexico, touch moon rock, and marvel at Houston freeway architecture.

    2010: Cast in Oliver (Annie/ensemble). Lots of fun. FIVE YEAR PARTY! Trip to Duck with my family to celebrate. Good time had by all. Cast in The Importance of Being Earnest (Miss Prism).

    2011: Earnest opens, to lots of people and good reviews, at Columbus Civic. :) Greatly enjoying being Miss Prism. Cast in Ragtime as an Immigrant. Trip to Williamsburg, VA!

    2012: Cast as Angustias in The House of Bernarda Alba, an all-female play. It rocks. Turn 30. Seven year transplant anniversary!
